Purafil Purafilter® Heavy Duty
Heavy Duty Combination Chemical and Particulate Filter
The Purafil Purafilter® -Heavy Duty (HD) is a combination chemical and particulate filter designed to replace existing particulate filters in retrofit or rework applications. The Purafilter-HD removes a broader range of odors and common indoor pollutants than activated carbon alone. It will not desorb like traditional activated carbon filters and removes gases through an irreversible chemical reaction process.
Read MorePurafilter- HD is ideal for use in commercial environments, including hotels airports, office buildings, schools, casinos, restaurants, museums, and athletic stadiums.
Features and Benefits
- Contains more than 10x the media of activated carbon filters.
- Removes more gaseous chemicals and odors than activated carbon.
- Removes gaseous chemicals and sold particulates.
- Adhesive-free filter design.
- Minimized by-pass and high removal efficiency.
- Purafil Select Media will not desorb.
- Low pressure drop.
- Long filter life.
- Reduced maintenance.
- Improved indoor air quality.
Camfil CamCarb VC
Loose-Fill V-Cell Panel Cartridge Filter
Camfil CamCarb VC loose-fill V-Cell panel cartridge filter with header is recommended for reduction of modest occupancy odor loads, peak-shaving of ambient air pollutants, and continuous control of low-level gaseous contaminants in make-up and air recirculation applications.
Read MoreCamCarb VC may be installed in any HVAC application where the use of outside air for contaminant dilution is burdensome and cost prohibitive to the building operator.
Use of the CamCarb VC loose-fill v-cell cartridge for contaminant adsorption and removal allows for minimal introduction and conditioning of outside air, thereby significantly reducing energy costs associated with heating and cooling of required make-up air where a molecular filter is not applied. This method for contaminant removal is specifically prescribed in the ASHRAE Standard 62, Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality.
Cartridges may be installed in front-access built-up filter banks, or in two-stage side-access housings with a minimum 12 inch depth. Available with activated or impregnated carbon, potassium permanganate or blends.
Features and Benefits
- Lightweight and compact honeycomb panels containing the molecular media, mounted in a plastic frame for easy installation and disposal
- Nominal 1-inch mounting header
- Low resistance to airflow (nominal 0.38” w.g. at 500 fpm).
Camfil CityCarb CH
Combination Particulate and Molecular Filtration
The Camfil CityCarb CH is a filter providing both particle and molecular filtration in a compact filter configuration. CityCarb is a group of solutions to address the problem of atmospheric chemical burden and odors in building.
It is especially useful when; due to lack of space, molecular filtration must be combined with particle filtration in a single device.
Read MoreThe CityCarb CH is specifically intended for use in the recirculation air systems of museums, art galleries, libraries and archives. It is recommended to combine with CityCarb I installed in the make-up air system to provide control of external source pollutants, ozone, nitrogen dioxide, sulphur dioxide and VOCs.
The CityCarb CH model uses a targeted media to specifically control organic acids. The carbon operates with a Rapid Adsorption Dynamics (RAD) mechanism and includes a reactive impregnate that is specifically designed to enhance performance against low molecular weight organic acids, that may be present in certain cultural heritage buildings.
Features and Benefits
- Targeted adsorption of organic acids.
- Safe, light, clean and easy to handle.
- Low resistance to airflow.
- Ozone efficency and Camfil rating.
