Purafil Purafilter

The Purafilter is a combination chemical and particulate filter designed to replace existing particulate filters in retrofit or rework applications. Purafil engineers are the first to successfully suspend sodium permanganate adsorbents in a bi-component fiber matrix.

Chemical filtration systems utilizing sodium permanganate remove a broader range of contaminants than carbon-only filters and exhibit higher efficiencies. Because of the Purafilter’s broad-spectrum removal capabilities, it is the only chemical filter capable of meeting the stringent requirements of ASHRAE 62’s Indoor Air Quality Procedure.

The Camfil Aeropleat^® III pleated filter offers medium grade ASHRAE efficiency, and sets the performance standard for those upgrading from lower efficiency pleats, throw-aways or pads. The Aeropleat III has a MERV 8 when evaluated per ASHRAE Standard 52.2.

The Camfil AP-Eleven extended service pleated panel filter removes nuisance dusts, lint and contaminants associated with staining while also removing lung-damaging sub-micron particles. Purafil® Deep Bed Scrubber

The Purafil® Deep Bed Scrubber (BDS) is designed for areas where high contaminant gas levels are present. It provides protection against environmentally induced corrosion in control and switchgear rooms equipped with electronic process control systems. The DBS is ideal for refineries, steel mills, smelters, chemical plants, petrochemical plants, and other hostile environments.

Each DBS is designed to deliver “G1” air to the space it is protecting according to the environmental standard definition set by the Instrumentation, Systems and Automation Society (ISA).

Purafil® ESD Drum Scrubber- 500

The Drum Scrubber–500 (DS-500) is ideal for removal of odorous gases found at pump stations, lift stations, wet wells, force mains, and even at the wastewater treatment plant. Recommended for moderate-load applications, the DS-500 is sized for airflows up to 500 cfm.

At the core of ESD’s high-efficiency odor control systems are dry-chemical air filtration medias. The DS-500 is bulk filled with multiple layers of Odoroxidant™, Odorcarb™ II, and Odormix™ media for broad-spectrum removal of sewage odors at 99.5+% efficiencies.

Purafil® Positive Pressurization Unit (PPU)

The Purafil Positive Pressurization Unit (PPU) is a self-contained, air cleaning system, designed to provide pressurization air, free of corrosive gases. The PPU is recommended for controlled environments containing sensitive computer electronics and electrical equipment. Designed to stand alone, it can also be used in conjunction with Purafil’s Corrosive-Air System when recirculation is also required. Key application areas for the PPU are computer rooms, control rooms, motor control centers, and electrical equipment rooms in industrial environments, such as pulp and paper mills, petrochemical plants, refineries, steel mills, laboratories, and other process industries.

Camfil FB housings provide sealing integrity in a side access bag-in/bag-out housing for fluid seal Absolute® filters. Round Axial Flow Bag-In/Bag-Out Top Service Housing

Camfil CamContain™ FB-R and GB-R Housings are designed for use in critical processes where
hazardous airborne materials must be prevented from escaping to the atmosphere. Air filters may be replaced from the topside of the unit using a control barrier to protect change-out personnel from contaminants within the housing or captured by the filters. The unit may be mounted vertically or horizontally.

Upstream, Downstream, Overall Efficiency and Scan Efficiency Test Sections

Camfil test sections provide a convenient section to allow in-place filter evaluation. One model is available for overall filter testing which evaluates the performance of an air filter for overall efficiency. For overall testing the operation is performed without section entry. A particle counter connection port is provided to attach users testing equipment. A unique cross-sampling of airflow is sampled providing overall filter efficiency. A scan-test model is also available to allow inplace testing for filter leaks.

Horizontal Air Cleaner for the Removal of Airborne Contaminants

The Camfil CamCleaner is an air cleaner designed for the removal of particulate (standard) and gaseous contaminants (optional) and is typically suspended from a ceiling. Applications include areas that have high load particulate concentrations such as warehouse dust, welding, oil mist, printing, food & beverage and other locations where direct source capture may be difficult.

CamCarb adsorbent canisters are also an optional stage of filtration to control
odors and gases. Available in two sizes of air delivery, 2000 and 4000 cfm, the unit accepts multiple stages of air filtration wherein the user can select from a variety of particulate or gaseous/chemical filtration.

The Camfil GlidePack^® MultiTrack 13 is a multi-stage air filter housing with adaptable tracks to apply a variety of prefiltration, secondary filtration that may include absorbers, and final filtration to provide superior indoor air quality for virtually any application. The housing may also be reconfigured in the field for air filtration upgrades or to adapt to the latest air filtration technology.

The aluminum air filter mounting track includes ribbed surfaces to ensure that filters slide easily across the tracks in housing configurations from four high to six filters wide. The tracks include slide modifiers that may be moved or removed to change filter configurations to accommodate a 2” or 4” deep prefilter, a 2”, or 4” deep intermediate particulate or carbon filter, and a 6” or 12” deep rigid or pocket final filter.
